Visit from USHAŞ to Uzbekistan Investment Office; USHAŞ General Manager Behlül ÜNVER and the accompanying delegation met with Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Akram Z. ALİEV, First Deputy Head of Investor Relations Department Rakhimdjanov MUZAFFAR and the accompanying delegation at the Uzbekistan Investment Office. During the visit, the fields of activity of USHAŞ and its experiences in international health services were shared in detail.
During the meeting, the envisaged investment areas in Uzbekistan and cooperation opportunities in these investments were evaluated. Behlül ÜNVER drew attention to the importance of cooperating with state-sponsored institutions in projects and the advantages this would provide. He also emphasized that on-site production should be encouraged in order to reduce external dependence in procurement processes.
Mr. ÜNVER emphasized the importance of “domestic and national” production approach and stated that the relations between the two countries will be further strengthened with more cooperation, training and joint work. The Uzbekistan side expressed their needs especially for the training of trained healthcare personnel, and expressed their belief that USHAŞ will provide support in this field.
