On January 20, 2025, USHAŞ visited the Turkish Ambassador to Nicosia Mr. Yasin Ekrem SERİM in his office. During the visit, discussions were held on the development of cooperation between Türkiye and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) in the field of health tourism and international health services.
Mr. Engin KARABAŞ, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of USHAŞ and Mr. Behlül ÜNVER, General Manager of USHAŞ attended the meeting. Ambassador Mr. Yasin Ekrem SERİM emphasized Türkiye’s international achievements in the health sector and stated that the cooperation between USHAŞ and TRNC will provide significant gains for both sides. During the meeting, topics such as more effective utilization of TRNC’s health tourism potential, development of modern health infrastructure and training of specialized health personnel were discussed.
The USHAŞ delegation emphasized the strategic importance of sharing Türkiye’s experience in the field of health with the TRNC and establishing a strong cooperation in this field, and stated that this visit will contribute to further strengthening the relations between the two countries.
