USHAŞ General Manager Mr. Behlül ÜNVER and the accompanying delegation visited the Turkish Ambassador to Moscow Mr. Tanju BİLGİÇ and the accompanying delegation in his office. The visit was organized to discuss the development of cooperation opportunities in the field of health between Türkiye and the Russian Federation and the realization of joint projects in the field of health tourism between the two countries.
During the meeting, the development of the Turkish healthcare system in the international arena and the contributions of USHAŞ in this process were discussed. Mr. BİLGİÇ stated that cooperation opportunities in the field of health tourism between Türkiye and Russia could be expanded and that the exchange of information and joint projects in this field would benefit both countries.
Mr. ÜNVER stated that USHAŞ is ready to develop a deeper health cooperation with Russia by using its experience in international projects and Türkiye’s modern health infrastructure. During the meeting, issues such as increasing the supply of medical devices and pharmaceuticals from Türkiye to Russia and initiating training and information sharing programs among healthcare professionals were also discussed.
While the visit stood out as one of the steps supporting Türkiye’s goals to become a leading country in health tourism, it also demonstrated a strong will for the long-term and sustainable progress of health cooperation between the two countries.
