USHAŞ hosted Dr. Fatih SEYRAN, President of the International Health Tourism Institute, and the accompanying delegation. The meeting, where strategic recommendations for the development of the health tourism sector were discussed, took place at the Ministry of Health.
During the meeting, the report titled “Suggestions for Improvement and Development in the Health Tourism Sector in Türkiye” prepared by the institute was discussed in detail. The report drew attention with its recommendations on legislation, quality, accreditation, promotion and incentive processes. General Manager Mr. Behlül ÜNVER emphasized the importance of the institute’s recommendations for the sector, stated that the report was meticulously prepared and thanked the members of the institute for their contributions.
During the meeting, which reinforced the leading role of USHAŞ in the vision of health tourism, the issues of compliance of the sector with international standards, strong audit mechanisms, patient follow-up and incentive management were discussed. In addition, the contribution of the “HealthTürkiye” platform to the digitalization of the sector and its central role in international promotional activities were evaluated.
