On December 9, 2024, USHAŞ General Manager Behlül ÜNVER hosted the Ambassador of Ivory Coast to Ankara, Khadidjata TOURE and the accompanying delegation in his office. During the meeting, the national and international achievements of USHAŞ, Türkiye’s healthcare system supported by advanced technology and exemplary practices in this field were discussed in detail.
Behlül ÜNVER emphasized the strategic role of USHAŞ in strengthening the relations between the two countries and stated that they are open to areas of cooperation such as thermal tourism, geriatric tourism, pharmaceutical and medical device supply, health information systems consultancy and the organization of health business forums.
Ivory Coast appreciated Türkiye’s development in the field of health and stated that the number of health tourists coming to Türkiye for treatment is increasing and that the support of USHAŞ is valuable for organizing these processes more effectively. Khadidjata TOURE invited USHAŞ to Ivory Coast and stated that cooperation could be made in hospital operation and construction.
During the meeting, Türkiye’s global healthcare achievements and the ability of USHAŞ to transform these achievements into international collaborations were emphasized. The meeting ended by emphasizing that the health relations between the two countries will continue in a stronger way with the contributions of USHAŞ.
