Turkey and the United Kingdom signed the “EU-Turkey Declaration on Cooperation in the Field of Tourism”.
On November 13, 2023, a Turkey-United Kingdom Tourism Cooperation Meeting was held in Ankara.
The meeting, which was organized to explain the range of quality services offered to touristic guests from the United Kingdom and to highlight the activities carried out to improve these services, was attended by the Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Turkey, Ms. Jill Morris and the senior delegation of the Embassy, and the Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism, Ms. Jill Morris. Ms. Jill Morris, Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Turkey and the Embassy’s senior delegation, Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism, Mr. Nadir Alpaslan, TGA. Mr. Nadir Alpaslan, Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism, Ms. Elif Balcı Fisunoğlu, Deputy General Manager of the Directorate General of TGA. Elif Balcı Fisunoğlu, General Director of Promotion, Mr. Timuçin Güler. Mr. Timuçin Güler, Director General of Promotion, Provincial Culture and Tourism Directors, senior members of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure and Ministry of Health attended the meeting.
During the meeting, USHAŞ made a presentation to the high-level delegation of the British Embassy in Turkey on the sensitivity shown in the treatment of international patients and new service opportunities. At the end of the meeting, the Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Turkey, Ms. Jill Morris, and the Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Turkey, Ms. Ms. Jill Morris, Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Turkey, and Mr. Nadir Alpaslan, Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism. At the end of the meeting, the “EU-Turkey Declaration on Cooperation in the Field of Tourism” was signed between Turkey and the United Kingdom under the leadership of Ms. Jill Morris, Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Turkey and Mr. Nadir Alpaslan, Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism.
