USHAŞ Delegation headed by our General Manager Murat MERCAN met with the Nigerian Ambassador and the accompanying delegation!

The USHAŞ delegation led by our General Manager Murat MERCAN held extensive meetings with the Nigerian Ambassador Mr. İsmail Abba YUSUF, former Nigerian Ambassador Mr. Ilyasu Audu PAGALDA, and the accompanying delegation. Accompanied by General Director of EU and Foreign Relations of our Ministry Dr. Selami KILIÇ, a delegation of high-level medical doctors working in well-known hospitals such as Hillside Hospital in Nigeria, CEOs of well-known insurance companies, and senior sector representatives as well as Nigerian Defense Attaché Ibrahim Khalil MUAZU were amongst the attendees.
In the meetings, where every health tourism-related issue was discussed in detail and a new agreement was signed between the two countries in the field of health, areas such as international patient treatment, various investment opportunities within the scope of Public-Private Partnership model, pharmaceutical, medical device and equipment supply, and cooperation on health information systems were evaluated.
The delegation, which also visited Ankara City Hospital and received information about our health system and the hospital, stated that they request support from USHAŞ, especially in digital health systems, medical personnel training, and establishment and management of a full-fledged hospital in Nigeria.
