USHAŞ continues to develop regional collaborations in order to strengthen Türkiye’s position in the field of health tourism. In this context, Nevşehir Provincial Health Director Op. Dr. Hasan TARTAR and the accompanying delegation visited USHAŞ to discuss projects to increase the health tourism potential of Nevşehir. During the meeting, issues such as preparing the region for international patient admission, improving the health services infrastructure and integrating Nevşehir’s touristic values with health tourism were discussed.
Mr. Behlül ÜNVER, General Manager of USHAŞ, emphasized that Nevşehir is one of the most important regions of Türkiye in terms of both history and tourism. Mr. Behlül ÜNVER reminded the words of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Türkiye Prof. Dr. Kemal MEMİŞOĞLU during his recent visit to Nevşehir, “We will designate Nevşehir as a special working area for health tourism” and stated that USHAŞ will continue to work in line with this vision.
During the meeting, preparations for the comprehensive meeting to be held on February 11, 2025 with the participation of Nevşehir Governor Mr. Ali Fidan and Nevşehir Deputy Mr. Emre Çalışkan were also discussed. This meeting is expected to create an important platform for strategic steps to be taken in the field of health tourism in Nevşehir.
USHAŞ aims to make the region an international health tourism center by combining its expertise in health tourism with the tourism potential of Nevşehir.
