USHAŞ General Manager Behlül ÜNVER made a series of important visits to improve health services at İGA Istanbul Airport and to evaluate international health cooperation opportunities.
Within the scope of the visit, Mr. ÜNVER met with İGA Doctor Dr. Nazım AĞAOĞLU and Turkish Directorate General of Health for Borders and Coastlines İstanbul Airport Chief Physician Dr. Aykut Yener KAVAK and held discussions on possible collaborations and new projects in the field of health tourism.
Emphasizing the strategic location of the airport and its significant potential in international health services, Mr. ÜNVER offered suggestions for developing more effective service models at İGA Istanbul Airport with the expertise of USHAŞ in the field of health tourism. During the meetings, the guidance services for foreign patients regarding their treatment processes in Türkiye and the modern healthcare infrastructure were particularly emphasized.
Following the visits, it was decided to prepare project drafts for Istanbul Airport’s health tourism targets and to start pilot implementations in the near future.
